The best finds from the Lawrence Public Library’s Summer Book Sale

The library is hosting its Summer Book Sale this weekend. The seasonal event features a huge collection of goods, all priced at $2 or less, and the proceeds go toward supporting the library’s programs and services. Attendees can shop from more than 64,000 high-quality books (including an entire room of children’s books), CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and games, all organized by genre or subject.

In this episode, we showcase everything the sale has to offer and talk to attendees about what they have in their haul.

You can still check out the Summer Book Sale during its final day tomorrow, Sunday July 14, from 12-4pm. Volunteers are on standby to help you find that perfect book, with bags and boxes available to bring your treasures home. And with easy payment options including cash, check, and Apple Pay, this sale is accessible to everyone.

Visit the library’s book sale calendar to keep up-to-date on future events, and learn more about the Lawrence Public Library Friends & Foundation, which makes these events possible.
